Open House Chili-Cha-Cha
February 4, 2011

OPEN HOUSE AND "CHILI-CHA-CHA"
What is the "Chili-Cha-Cha"?
The "Chili-Cha-Cha" is Bayshore's own Chili Cooking Contest. You're always bragging that your chili is the best, right? Well, here's your chance to prove it!
What are the "Chili-Cha-Cha" rules?
Competitors cook a pot of chili at home, big enough to share multiple samples, and bring it in to Fellowship Hall by 5:45 p.m. on Friday, February 4. There are no restrictions on the chili ingredients, but a list of ingredients must be displayed. Diners receive samples of each chili and cast their vote for the "Best Chili" they taste. Judging will take place from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Winners will be announced at half time during the basketball game. Only Bayshore families and friends are invited to enter the competition.
Will there be anything to eat besides chili?
Absolutely! There will be baked potatoes, with all the "fixin's", salad, beverages, and dessert.
Will there be prizes?
Yes! The chili chef (or team) with the most votes will win $100, a "Chili-Cha-Cha Champion" apron, and bragging rights! Second place will receive $75, and third place will receive $50. Prizes will be awarded that evening at half time during the basketball game.
What about the Open House?
The same evening there will be an Open House 6 - 8 p.m. for prospective families. All prospective families are invited to the "Chili-Cha-Cha" dinner. If a family takes an official tour of the school, they will receive a "VIP pass" for dinner.
What's the purpose of this event?
Not only are we promoting school spirit and a fun event for Bayshore families, we are also encouraging Bayshore families to invite their neighbors, friends, and families to come tour Bayshore, and consider making us their "school of choice" for the 2011-12 academic year.
