Few Interesting Things...Lower School

Bayshore Christian School students are enthusiastic! They exhibit a lively interest and eager involvement in learning, and they are taught by passionate teachers.
At Bayshore Christian School, the Lower School concentrates on core knowledge: reading, phonics, handwriting, grammar, language, math, science, geography, American history and Bible, striving for excellence and mastery.
At Bayshore Christian School our master teachers set the stage for lively experiences. Hands-on knowledge is effectively worked into minds through real-life efforts, in science labs, cooking experiences or simply counting and graphing pumpkin seeds.
At Bayshore Christian School academic foundations are enhanced by going places and doing things. Regional field trips to MOSI, IMAX, Lowry Park Zoo, the Florida Aquarium. Cracker Country. Ag-venture, Lithia Springs, Dinosaur World, Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Mahaffey Theater, St. Augustine, Cape Kennedy, and Tallahassee enable children to come face to face with the richness of our culture.
At Bayshore Christian School visiting authors, politicians, firefighters, historical re-enactors and community helpers bring real-life influences to our campus.
At Bayshore Christian School enrichment classes are weekly events as 1st through 5th grades are scheduled in physical education, music, art, computer and library.
At Bayshore Christian School, our young learners demonstrate their faith through their actions. They gather food, clothing and toys for migrant workers in the Plant City area; they fill shoe boxes that are sent to children in 100 countries as they participate in Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse organization; and they give their outgrown uniforms to mission children in Honduras and Guatemala.
At Bayshore Christian School, before and after school care is offered, and after-school activities provide social enrichment. Dance lessons, Christian karate, Mad Science, Sports Fun, creative art classes and tennis lessons are among the activities on campus weekly.
At Bayshore Christian School, the entire world's a stage! The entire Elementary school celebrates Christmas with a musical presentation for their families. Both the K5 and the 5th grade perform musicals at the end of the school year. The All-Recorder Band (3rd - 5th) performs during Chapel.
