Bayshore Christian School

Eagles Wings is an in-house tutorial program designed to meet the needs of Lower School students who require additional assistance understanding or completing the elementary curriculum.Students are pulled out of the classroom during the school day or, occasionally, tutored after school hours.Tutoring takes place on campus in a nurturing 1:1 environment. Each student’s program is carefully designed by the Eagles Wings instructor, in conjunction with the classroom teacher, and the parents. Throughout the years we have seen young learners succeed and "mount up with wings as eagles" as they have been skillfully taught and encouraged in  the Eagles Wings program. 

Our Eagles Wings instructor is Mrs. Wanda Mayo. Mrs. Mayo has a rich educational background. She graduated from Southern Illinois University with a BS in Elementary Education and is certified in grades K-9. She has had Master's level training in both Behavior Disorders and Learning Disabilities.
